Architecture studio
A quietly confident new presence that doubled qualified enquiries.
Atelier Rowe — Architecture
Overview
Atelier Rowe is a London-based architecture practice known for restrained, considered residential work. Their existing site read like a portfolio of files — beautiful work, hidden behind clutter. We rebuilt the site as a measured, editorial experience that matched the quality of their built projects.
challenge
The studio was being shortlisted for projects well below their ambition. Prospective clients couldn't tell, from the website, whether they were a two-person operation or an established firm. The work deserved a frame that felt as serious as the practice itself.
approach
We stripped the site back to typography, generous whitespace, and a single accent. Project pages were rewritten as short editorial essays — the brief, the thinking, the outcome — and paired with full-bleed photography. Enquiry was given a quiet, persistent presence rather than a loud call to action.
result
Within ten weeks of launch, qualified enquiries doubled and the average project value increased by roughly 40%. Three competitors quietly redesigned their own sites in the months that followed.
Joseph understood, almost immediately, what we'd been trying to say for years. The site finally looks like the practice we actually are.
Before / After
Before
Cluttered, gallery-heavy, no clear positioning. Felt smaller than the practice.
After
Editorial, restrained, confidently scaled. Reads as an established studio.
In summary
What changed wasn't the work — it was the frame around it. A premium studio, finally presented at its own level.
